The exterior of the addition was designed to match the existing building, using wood roof trusses and asphalt shingles. The structure is masonry bearing with matching brickwork. All exterior trim work was wrapped with aluminum in order to be maintenance free.

The addition includes a kindergarten classroom, administrative offices, conference room and nurses office. The gymnasium section of the addition includes a Robbins Bio-Cushion floor system, bleachers, and a stage. A movable partition wall installed on the front of the proscenium allows for separation between the gym and stage. This permits the stage to be used for either music instruction or as additional classroom space.
